Musician, Mother, and Mayor

I grew up in a stone tudor house in the suburb of Green Hills in Nashville, Tennessee. My family (immediate and extended) values education and the pursuit of knowledge (specifically in the academic realm), above all else. As a young child I attended a Catholic School (St. Bernards Academy), which took place on the grounds of a nunnery, and was staffed by the occupants (they got me “to a nunnery” quite early). I then attended University School of Nashville, and in the course of teenage frontal-lobal-limitations
